Hi, I'm Juan and I hold trainee membership with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am also undertaking an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC).
I abide by the code of ethics for both organisations and have full, valid professional insurance.
I have also completed a clinical placement with the mental health charity Mind, where I worked with several clients on an in-person 1:1 basis.
My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, inclusive environment where you can redefine your self-narrative and build a life that feels authentically yours.
Having grown up in a multilingual family dynamic with English and Spanish seasoned with Arabic, French and Italian, I am particularly sensitive to cultural nuances and concepts that don't quite translate.
My Approach
My practice is a space for individuals navigating a wide range of life challenges. You might be reaching out because you are navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, exploring your identity, sexuality or relationship structures. You may be someone who feels 'in-between' cultures and are searching for a true sense of belonging. Perhaps your intersecting identities or life experiences have left you feeling misunderstood or fundamentally disconnected from your sense of self (and others).
I believe healing is possible within a strong, collaborative relationship. You bring the raw material of your life, and I bring a variety of ways to help you process it. It is my hope that together, we can create the safety necessary for you to be seen in your full complexity. My integrative method means I draw from various therapeutic tools to meet you exactly where you are in life.
As part of my training, I receive regular supervision with a UKCP registered psychotherapist who is also an active member of the BCPC teaching faculty.
My Surrey/Hampshire practice is based at The Annexe which is managed by Hart Voluntary Action with support from the Odiham Cottage Hospital Combined Charities.

I also am running a small practice from the BCPC premises in Bath city centre on Thursdays.
